Job Title: Order Entry Processing Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Entry Processing Specialist to support import logistics and compliance operations. This onsite, temporary position based in Camden, NJ, is expected to last approximately six months to one year, with potential for conversion depending on workload and performance. The role centers around preparing and submitting customs documentation, tracking international shipments, and ensuring compliance with applicable import regulations.

Compensation:

  • $26.00 – $32.00/hour

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Includes a 1-hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks

Key Responsibilities of the Order Entry Processing Specialist:

  • Prepare and submit accurate customs entries and related documentation to authorities
  • Review and verify import documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin
  • Maintain comprehensive reports and backup records
  • Monitor and track incoming shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations
  • Identify and resolve clearance issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support efficient customs clearance

Qualifications and Skills for the Order Entry Processing Specialist:

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in imports, exports, or customs brokerage
  • Familiarity with customs documentation and shipping terminology in a corporate environment
  • Knowledge of customs regulations, including HTS codes and duty rates
  • Experience with customs entry processing or import compliance
  • Exposure to Global Trade Management systems preferred but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel using templates and spreadsheets
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent experience preferred
