Job Title: Legal Operations Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Operations Assistant to support legal operations initiatives for our client. This onsite, temporary position based in Audubon, PA focuses on enhancing efficiency across legal processes such as e-billing, contract workflows, legal technology platforms, and document management. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, operational expertise, and a collaborative approach to supporting legal and business teams.

Compensation:

  • $35–$37 per hour

Work Schedule:

  • Standard business hours

Key Responsibilities of the Legal Operations Assistant:

  • Support legal operations activities including e-billing, matter management, contract lifecycle processes, and document retention.
  • Maintain and administer legal systems such as contract management tools, legal spend platforms, and document repositories.
  • Monitor legal department budgets, process invoices, and assist with accruals and financial tracking.
  • Collect and analyze operational data to support reporting on legal department performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external legal partners to ensure proper invoice submission, contract approvals, and document execution.
  • Organize and maintain legal records and documentation to ensure audit-readiness and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Skills for the Legal Operations Assistant:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in legal operations, contract administration, or legal support, preferably in a corporate or healthcare setting.
  • Hands-on experience with legal technology tools such as CounselLink (e-billing), Malbek, or ContractLogix (contract management) preferred.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage complex tasks independently.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across global teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
