Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to join our client and play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, execution, and financial performance of cleanroom and controlled environment construction projects. This permanent/direct-hire position, based in Cincinnati, OH, is ideal for a professional with a strong background in construction project management who thrives in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
Compensation:
$115,000 – $150,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience
Work Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday
Onsite in Cincinnati, OH with occasional travel required
Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
Oversee full project lifecycle from initiation to closeout, ensuring adherence to safety, scope, schedule, and budget
Lead cross-functional teams and subcontractors to deliver high-quality results
Develop and manage project budgets and track project financial health
Create, update, and maintain project timelines and procurement schedules
Participate in design and planning meetings and drive continuous project updates with stakeholders
Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications, implementing changes as needed
Ensure quality control, risk mitigation, and compliance throughout all phases
Serve as the main point of contact for clients and maintain strong professional relationships
Document and distribute meeting notes and relevant project information
Manage subcontractor selection, negotiation, and oversight
Ensure jobsite safety and adherence to company and regulatory standards
Qualifications and Skills for the Project Manager:
Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience in project management, or an associate degree with 6–8 years of relevant experience
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credential preferred
Proven success managing project budgets, schedules, and deliverables
Strong knowledge of construction methods, design-build processes, and cleanroom or controlled environment projects a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project)
Ability to travel as needed and manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines
Hands-on leadership style with a proactive approach to risk mitigation and problem-solving
