Job Title: Contract Recruiter

Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Contract Recruiter to support talent acquisition efforts across a variety of roles, ranging from entry-level production to technical and professional positions. This hybrid (Philadelphia-based) temporary-to-permanent opportunity offers the chance to make a significant impact on workforce development in the manufacturing sector. Candidates must be local to the area and open to working onsite as needed.

Compensation:
  • $50 – $55/hour, depending on experience

Work Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday
  • Normal business hours
  • Hybrid role (must be local and available for occasional onsite work)

Key Responsibilities of the Contract Recruiter:
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from intake meetings through onboarding
  • Source candidates using a variety of tools including job boards, social media, networking, industry events, and staffing partners
  • Oversee applicant tracking system (ATS) functions and maintain accurate candidate records
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and schedule in-person interviews
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to assess candidate fit, skills, and experience
  • Extend offers and guide candidates through the hiring process
  • Create and post job descriptions that attract high-quality candidates
  • Represent the company at job fairs and community hiring events
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines through educational and community partnerships
  • Ensure all hiring practices comply with employment laws and company policies

Qualifications and Skills for the Contract Recruiter:
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 0–2 years of recruiting experience, ideally in a manufacturing, construction, or technical setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of recruiting best practices and employment regulations
