Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Contract Recruiter to support talent acquisition efforts across a variety of roles, ranging from entry-level production to technical and professional positions. This hybrid (Philadelphia-based) temporary-to-permanent opportunity offers the chance to make a significant impact on workforce development in the manufacturing sector. Candidates must be local to the area and open to working onsite as needed.
Compensation:
$50 – $55/hour, depending on experience
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday
Normal business hours
Hybrid role (must be local and available for occasional onsite work)
Key Responsibilities of the Contract Recruiter:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from intake meetings through onboarding
Source candidates using a variety of tools including job boards, social media, networking, industry events, and staffing partners
Oversee applicant tracking system (ATS) functions and maintain accurate candidate records
Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and schedule in-person interviews
Collaborate with hiring managers to assess candidate fit, skills, and experience
Extend offers and guide candidates through the hiring process
Create and post job descriptions that attract high-quality candidates
Represent the company at job fairs and community hiring events
Build and maintain talent pipelines through educational and community partnerships
Ensure all hiring practices comply with employment laws and company policies
Qualifications and Skills for the Contract Recruiter:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field preferred
0–2 years of recruiting experience, ideally in a manufacturing, construction, or technical setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-starter with excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
Familiarity with ATS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of recruiting best practices and employment regulations
