Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to support quality assurance processes for our client in the life sciences industry. This onsite, contract role based in West Chester, PA focuses on inspecting and testing raw materials and finished goods, ensuring adherence to strict quality standards, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role may convert to a permanent opportunity depending on business needs.
Compensation:
- $25/hour
Work Schedule:
- Training Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Post-Training Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities of the Quality Control Inspector:
- Perform inspections and tests on incoming raw materials and finished goods
- Maintain accurate inspection records, including scanning and filing documentation
- Initiate non-conformance reports and support investigations as needed
- Ensure non-conforming materials are processed according to established protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized QC inspection area with proper product storage
- Participate in internal audits as assigned
Qualifications and Skills for the Quality Control Inspector:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred
- 1–3 years of quality inspection experience in a regulated environment
- Proficient with computer systems and inspection documentation
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
