Job Overview: We are seeking a friendly and reliable Customer Service Representative to join our client’s team and play a key role in delivering excellent service within a dynamic logistics environment. This onsite, contract-to-hire position based in Westampton, NJ, focuses on assisting customers with scheduling shipments, resolving service inquiries, and ensuring a smooth flow of communication across departments.

$19.00/hour
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:
Respond to inbound calls, emails, and faxes to assist customers with general inquiries, scheduling, and issue resolution
Schedule pickups and delivery appointments, trace shipments, and provide accurate ETAs and freight quotes
Coordinate with internal teams, delivery partners, brokers, and container stations to ensure timely shipments
Document all customer interactions for follow-up and recordkeeping
Support billing accuracy and coordinate communication regarding Driver Collect and C.O.D. shipments
Prepare and audit daily reports, compile custom customer data as needed
Assist customers with online portal registration and usage
Meet key performance standards, including call quality, process knowledge, schedule adherence, and contact efficiency
Qualifications and Skills for the Customer Service Representative:
1+ year of customer-facing experience in a retail, hospitality, or office setting (e.g., retail associates, bank tellers, or fast-food service)
Strong tenure in previous roles preferred; minimal job-hopping
Experience in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); accurate typing and data entry skills
Dependable with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under deadlines
Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule to support business needs
Professional, personable, and responsive to customer concerns
