Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our client in supporting key HR functions and organizational goals. This hybrid, direct-hire position based in Jacksonville, FL (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) focuses on driving HR strategy, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and play a pivotal role in shaping workplace culture, managing HR operations, and ensuring adherence to employment laws and best practices.

Compensation:
  • $110,000 annual salary, plus bonus opportunities

Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, normal business hours
  • Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Key Responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager:
  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of HR policies and programs
  • Support executive leadership in developing HR strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Oversee employee relations, benefits, compensation, talent management, and compliance
  • Serve as the main point of contact for benefit programs and vendor relationships
  • Conduct HR data analysis and reporting to guide decisions and track HR metrics
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Champion employee engagement, retention, and recognition initiatives
  • Manage departmental budget and HR staff, including hiring, coaching, and performance evaluations
  • Facilitate professional development and training for HR team members
  • Participate in safety efforts and co-chair the safety committee

Qualifications and Skills for the Human Resources Manager:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, including supervisory responsibilities
  • Proven experience managing benefits, payroll, and compliance programs
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Experience with HRIS/talent management systems and data reporting
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
  • Prior experience implementing new systems is a plus
