Job Overview: We are seeking a strategic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our client in supporting key HR functions and organizational goals. This hybrid, direct-hire position based in Jacksonville, FL (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) focuses on driving HR strategy, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and play a pivotal role in shaping workplace culture, managing HR operations, and ensuring adherence to employment laws and best practices.
Compensation:
$110,000 annual salary, plus bonus opportunities
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, normal business hours
Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Key Responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager:
Lead the planning, development, and execution of HR policies and programs
Support executive leadership in developing HR strategies aligned with company objectives
Oversee employee relations, benefits, compensation, talent management, and compliance
Serve as the main point of contact for benefit programs and vendor relationships
Conduct HR data analysis and reporting to guide decisions and track HR metrics
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws
Champion employee engagement, retention, and recognition initiatives
Manage departmental budget and HR staff, including hiring, coaching, and performance evaluations
Facilitate professional development and training for HR team members
Participate in safety efforts and co-chair the safety committee
Qualifications and Skills for the Human Resources Manager:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, including supervisory responsibilities
Proven experience managing benefits, payroll, and compliance programs
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Experience with HRIS/talent management systems and data reporting
Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
Prior experience implementing new systems is a plus
