Job Title: HR Onboarding Coordinator
 

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Onboarding Coordinator to support our client’s onboarding and pre-employment processes. This onsite, contract-to-hire position based near Moorestown, NJ focuses on coordinating administrative onboarding tasks, ensuring compliance with pre-hire requirements, and maintaining effective communication with new hires and internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless onboarding experience.
 

Compensation:

  • $20.00 – $21.00 per hour
 

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, standard business hours
 

Key Responsibilities of the HR Onboarding Coordinator:

  • Oversee all post-offer onboarding steps, including pre-employment paperwork, background checks, health screenings, and orientation scheduling.
  • Track and manage new hire progress using internal applicant tracking systems.
  • Communicate with hiring managers and new hires to confirm start dates and resolve any onboarding issues.
  • Validate licensure and certifications required for each role.
  • Complete I-9 and E-Verify documentation in compliance with federal requirements and company policy.
  • Support compliance with occupational health requirements including fit testing, COVID and influenza vaccinations, and manage exemption requests as applicable.
  • Maintain onboarding records, prepare reports, handle supply tracking, and provide phone/email support for onboarding inquiries.
  • Participate in special projects such as job fairs, employee referral initiatives, and onboarding for new business partnerships.
 

Qualifications and Skills for the HR Onboarding Coordinator:

  • 1–2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a Human Resources or Talent Acquisition setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • High level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • High school diploma required.
