Job Title: Shipping Coordinator
 

Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to support our client’s vehicle delivery operations. This temporary-to-hire, onsite position near Cherry Hill, NJ, is responsible for tracking vehicle shipments, coordinating with transport vendors and dealerships, and ensuring smooth and timely delivery of customer vehicles.
 

Compensation:

  • $22.50/hour
 

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
 

Key Responsibilities of the Shipping Coordinator:

  • Track vehicle delivery and licensing statuses with external dealerships and transportation vendors
  • Provide timely updates and communicate delays to internal stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records in status tracking systems with clear and concise notes
  • Generate or revise documentation such as MSOs and licensing forms
  • Serve as a liaison between dealerships, transport vendors, and internal teams
  • Assist with licensing coordination and recommend best practices for compliance
  • Support onboarding and training efforts for new partners
  • Manage support case inquiries and escalate issues as needed
  • Troubleshoot delivery or licensing delays and propose solutions
  • Follow up proactively to ensure compliance with timelines and delivery standards
  • Collaborate on special projects and process improvements as needed
 

Qualifications and Skills for the Shipping Coordinator:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general office technology
  • At least 1 year of experience in administrative, logistics, or transportation roles
  • Familiarity with vehicle dealerships or automotive logistics preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Customer-focused with the ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a commitment to quality service
