Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our client and play a vital role in supporting strategic financial operations. This remote, permanent/direct-hire position focuses on financial planning, analysis, and cross-functional business support to drive operational and investment decisions. Candidates must be able to work Eastern or Central time zone hours.
Compensation:
- $120,000–$140,000 annually, depending on experience
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, standard business hours (Eastern or Central Time)
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst:
- Develop a deep understanding of business performance drivers and support strategic initiatives
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including GAAP and Proforma income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Lead M&A integration efforts and prepare related pro forma financials
- Create financial reports and variance analyses for executive leadership
- Manage the company’s annual budgeting process across all functional areas
- Support investment evaluations and strategic decisions through data analysis and modeling
- Build and maintain detailed financial models for capital planning, product launches, and process improvements
- Prepare lender reporting packages and ensure timely compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational performance and efficiency
- Create executive-level presentations to summarize key financial insights
- Identify and implement process improvements in financial reporting and analysis
Qualifications and Skills for the Senior Financial Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (CPA or CMA preferred)
- 6–8+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
- Experience with NetSuite and Adaptive Planning preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Proforma reporting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Prior experience in SaaS or private equity-backed organizations is a plus
