Job Title: Senior Client Account Manager (Insurance)
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Senior Client Account Manager to join our client’s team in a hybrid role near King of Prussia, PA. This permanent opportunity plays a key role in guiding the strategic direction of insurance programs for commercial clients. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in brokerage or underwriting, excel at managing client relationships and renewals, and serve as a mentor to junior team members.
Compensation:
• $100,000 – $110,000 for approximately 5 years of experience
• Up to $150,000 for 10+ years of experience
• Bonus opportunities available
Work Schedule:
• Monday to Friday, normal business hours
• Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Client Account Manager:
• Define and implement marketing strategies tailored to each client’s insurance program
• Lead the renewal process, including negotiation with underwriters to secure favorable terms and pricing
• Conduct detailed analyses of exposures and coverage options
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships throughout the policy lifecycle
• Advise on claims and lead client meetings and conference calls
• Perform policy coverage reviews and due diligence for prospective clients
• Delegate appropriate tasks to team members and oversee their contributions
• Support the development of junior team members through ongoing mentorship and feedback
• Partner with leadership to shape strategies for complex and high-value accounts
• Travel occasionally to meet with clients locally and nationally
Qualifications and Skills for the Senior Client Account Manager:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Risk Management, Business, Finance, or related field)
• 6–8 years of experience in insurance brokerage or underwriting
• Active Property & Casualty license
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Client-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills
• Analytical, adaptable, and solutions-oriented
• Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and collaboration abilities
