Job Title: X-Ray Technician
 

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and certified X-Ray Technician to join our client’s growing orthopedic team. This permanent, full-time position is based in the Wilmington, DE area and requires travel to multiple nearby offices including Limestone, Bear, and Chadds Ford, PA. The technician will support a busy orthopedic practice by performing high-quality diagnostic imaging and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of physicians specializing in spine, joint, and sports medicine.
 

Compensation:
• $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Licensing fees covered by employer
 

Work Schedule:
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (patient hours)
• Technicians arrive at 7:15 AM and may stay past 5:00 PM depending on daily workload
• Must be flexible to travel between sites and cover PTO rotations
 

Key Responsibilities of the X-Ray Technician:
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
• Ensure high-quality radiographic images are produced for accurate diagnosis
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
• Document procedures accurately within the EMR system (WebPT)
• Assist with equipment upkeep and calibration as needed
• Travel to designated office locations and provide coverage as assigned
• Support a collaborative environment with physicians and medical staff
 

Qualifications and Skills for the X-Ray Technician:
• Active ARRT certification (required prior to start date)
• Ability to maintain annual certification and submit continuing education hours
• Experience in orthopedic settings preferred
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Willingness to travel to multiple office locations as needed
