Job Title: Customer Service Mortgage Servicing Professional

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Mortgage Servicing Professional to join our client and provide exceptional support to homeowners and borrowers. This hybrid, direct-hire position based in Tempe, AZ plays a key role in resolving mortgage servicing inquiries, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with service standards.

Compensation:

• $21 – $22 per hour

Work Schedule:

• Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote (Fridays, after training)
• Rotating Saturday shifts are required

Key Responsibilities of the Customer Service Mortgage Servicing Professional:

• Handle mortgage servicing inquiries, including payments, escrow analysis, insurance, and taxes
• Provide first-call resolution and conduct root cause analysis to resolve issues
• Manage customer communication via phone, email, and written correspondence
• Maintain performance goals for quality, productivity, and service levels
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions and support customer needs
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in daily tasks
• Complete assigned projects and additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications and Skills for the Customer Service Mortgage Servicing Professional:

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3–4 years of experience in customer service, call center, or mortgage servicing
• General knowledge of mortgage banking processes
• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
• Proven problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
• Ability to thrive in a structured, fast-paced environment
• Reliable work ethic with strict adherence to schedules and deadlines
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and requirements, including nights and weekends
• Comfortable working with all levels of management
