Job Title: Total Rewards Compensation Manager
 

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Total Rewards Compensation Manager to join our client, a global manufacturer, and play a vital role in shaping and supporting compensation strategies across diverse business groups. This hybrid permanent/direct-hire position, based near King of Prussia, PA, will focus on compensation program design, analytics, and serving as a trusted advisor to business leaders. The role typically follows a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote), with an initial training period that may be fully onsite.
 

Compensation:
• $140,000 – $170,000 annually, based on experience
• Bonus opportunities
 

Work Schedule:
• Monday – Friday, standard business hours
• Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) after training
 

Key Responsibilities of the Total Rewards Compensation Manager:
• Design and administer compensation programs, policies, salary structures, and both short- and long-term incentive plans.
• Conduct detailed data analyses to support compensation decisions, pay transparency compliance, and M&A activities.
• Partner with HR leaders and business groups as a subject matter expert on compensation planning and job evaluation.
• Provide consultative guidance on compensation-related activities, including system support, job leveling, and survey participation.
• Lead or participate in special projects that enhance compensation practices and support business objectives.
• Communicate changes and program details to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment across the organization.
• Manage compensation-related due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures.
• Oversee pay transparency initiatives, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• May supervise a direct report (Sr. Compensation Analyst) and provide leadership guidance as needed.
 

Qualifications and Skills for the Total Rewards Compensation Manager:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field required.
• 6–8+ years of dedicated experience in a compensation-focused role.
• Strong analytical ability with advanced proficiency in Excel and data manipulation.
• Experience with job evaluation methodologies (Hay preferred) and job architecture frameworks.
• Background in Workday Compensation and stock plan administration preferred.
• Demonstrated success partnering with business leaders and building strong stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex programs clearly.
• Adaptable and skilled in change management within a matrix or shared services environment.
• Experience developing sales compensation plans is a strong plus.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred, but open to candidates with diverse workforce exposure (hourly, salaried, multi-site).
