Job Title: Senior Workday HRIS Analyst
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Workday HRIS Analyst to join a growing team and play a key role in optimizing human resources technology. This direct-hire position, based near King of Prussia/Phoenixville, PA, focuses on supporting and enhancing the organization’s HRIS, with a strong emphasis on Workday. The analyst will be instrumental in configuring, maintaining, and improving HR systems, while collaborating closely with leadership to ensure processes align with evolving business needs.
Compensation:
• $105,000 annually, plus bonus and stock options
Work Schedule:
• Standard business hours, Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Workday HRIS Analyst:
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Workday functionality, including HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, and Security
• Configure and maintain Workday modules such as Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Scheduling, and user security roles
• Develop and execute system requirements, test plans, and functional/technical specifications
• Perform advanced system configurations including business processes, approval routing, condition rules, and calculated fields
• Identify and implement system enhancements and process improvements for HR operations
• Troubleshoot system issues, manage upgrades, and ensure system stability and compliance
• Support cross-functional HRIS projects, including implementations and enhancements
• Design and deliver reports, dashboards, and custom analytics within Workday
• Maintain EIB templates and oversee system data uploads
• Collaborate with executives and stakeholders to present data, provide insights, and ensure effective process alignment
• Create and deliver training materials for system users, ensuring data integrity and user adoption
Qualifications and Skills for the Senior Workday HRIS Analyst:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 5 years of HRIS experience with demonstrated Workday expertise
• Proven success in Workday configuration, security administration, and custom reporting
• Experience supporting large employee populations (1,000+ ideal, but not required)
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and complex formulas
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across all organizational levels, including executives
• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong project management and process improvement experience
