Job Title: Mortgage Servicing Associates (FHA / VA / Conventional)
 

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking Mortgage Servicing Associates (FHA / VA / Conventional) to join our client in a fully remote, direct-hire role (candidates must be located outside of California and Alaska). In this position, you will support borrowers throughout the loan servicing process by managing documentation, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate records. This role is well-suited for individuals with strong communication skills, mortgage processing experience, and the ability to handle a high-volume pipeline while providing outstanding customer service.
 

Compensation:
$25/hour, with eligibility for incentive plans after 90 days
 

Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (flexibility to extend hours as needed)
 

Key Responsibilities of the Mortgage Servicing Associate:
• Act as the primary point of contact for borrowers, underwriters, and loan advisors, delivering updates and addressing inquiries with professionalism.
• Review loan applications and servicing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with FHA, VA, and conventional guidelines.
• Coordinate collection of borrower documents and third-party items, including insurance, payoffs, and verifications.
• Manage and track assigned pipeline to meet service-level agreements, escalating issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
• Run automated underwriting and compliance checks to verify eligibility and maintain regulatory adherence.
• Document loan activity, status changes, and borrower interactions in the servicing system to ensure accurate reporting and recordkeeping.
 

Qualifications and Skills for the Mortgage Servicing Associate:
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mortgage loan processing, servicing, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of FHA, VA, and conventional loan processes and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to confidently manage borrower relationships by phone and email.
• Proficiency with MS Office and loan origination/servicing systems.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
