Job Title: Quality Clinical Coordinator
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Quality Clinical Coordinator to join our client to support patient outreach and clinical quality initiatives. This contract role, based in Conshohocken, PA, is primarily remote but requires candidates to reside within the five counties surrounding Philadelphia and attend onsite orientation and equipment pick-up. The coordinator will play a key role in promoting medication adherence among a Medicare Advantage population, while also supporting broader quality and compliance efforts. Success in this role will directly contribute to improved patient outcomes and healthcare performance metrics.
Compensation:
Up to $25/hr
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour day plus 30-minute lunch); some flexibility, with no patient calls permitted after 6:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities of the Quality Clinical Coordinator:
• Conduct proactive outreach to patients, using scripted conversations to address medication adherence barriers, provide education, and encourage timely refills.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacies, and practice staff to coordinate follow-up care and resolve medication or access issues.
• Manage weekly patient lists and document interactions across multiple platforms, including EMRs and claims systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support quality initiatives beyond medication adherence, including outreach for preventive screenings and chronic care management.
• Contribute to overall team effectiveness through administrative support, participation in training, and adherence to compliance and HIPAA standards.
Qualifications and Skills for the Quality Clinical Coordinator:
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting such as a physician’s office, hospital, pharmacy, or health plan.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EPIC required; Salesforce, Arcadia, and eCW experience a plus).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage elderly patients in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple platforms, perform accurate documentation, and handle sensitive information.
• Familiarity with medication adherence programs, Stars/HEDIS measures, and managed care is highly valued.
• A degree or medical certification (such as Medical Assistant) is preferred, though equivalent hands-on experience will be considered.
