Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
 

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our client to oversee facility and equipment upkeep while guiding a team of maintenance professionals. This direct-hire, onsite position near North Palm Beach, FL ensures that plant operations run safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards. The Maintenance Supervisor will balance hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities, partnering closely with plant leadership to maintain reliable operations and minimize downtime. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical and electrical expertise who enjoys mentoring others and driving operational excellence.
 

Compensation:
$37 – $59/hour
 

Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
 

Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor:
• Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities, ensuring all equipment and facilities operate efficiently and meet safety standards.
• Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of maintenance personnel while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and professional development.
• Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance programs, including work order management and inventory of spare parts and supplies.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to support operational goals, regulatory compliance, and emergency response readiness.
 

Qualifications and Skills for the Maintenance Supervisor:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications a plus.
• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in plant or utility maintenance, with exposure to both electrical and mechanical systems.
• At least 5 years of supervisory or team leadership experience in a maintenance environment.
• Strong knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, blowers, and electrical distribution systems.
• Valid driver’s license required; ability to obtain a Class B CDL within the first year (employer reimburses).
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
