Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Funder to join our client to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of residential mortgage loan purchases. In this role, you will review loan files, validate pricing and escrow details, and prepare collateral for delivery to financial institutions. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with both automated systems and documentation. This is a contract opportunity, based remote, with candidates located near Marlton, NJ required to work onsite.
 

Compensation:
$22/hour
 

Work Schedule:
Standard business hours, following EST
 

Key Responsibilities of the Funder:
• Review loan files to ensure all documentation supports accurate and timely loan purchases.
• Use automated systems to calculate and validate purchase pricing, escrow disbursements, and other financial components.
• Collect, verify, and prepare collateral documentation to ensure timely transfer to designated warehouse banks.
• Maintain compliance with established procedures while completing reports, correspondence, and system updates.
• Support overall loan purchase operations by identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
 

Qualifications and Skills for the Funder:
• High School Diploma or GED required; additional coursework or training in finance/loan processing is a plus.
• Previous experience in loan funding, mortgage operations, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical and math skills with the ability to calculate percentages, interest, and other financial figures.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow written/verbal instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication with the ability to prepare reports and collaborate across teams.
