Job Title: Personal Injury Paralegal
 

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal to join our client to support attorneys in managing the full lifecycle of personal injury cases. This direct-hire role is based in the Trenton, NJ area and offers an opportunity to contribute to case preparation, client communication, and trial readiness in a collaborative legal environment. The paralegal will play a vital role in gathering evidence, preparing legal documents, and ensuring timely case progression. Candidates will thrive if they are detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently when needed.
 

Compensation:
$60,000 – $80,000/year
 

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, standard business hours
 

Key Responsibilities of the Personal Injury Paralegal:
• Manage the progression of personal injury cases by supporting attorneys through investigation, discovery, litigation, and trial preparation.
• Draft legal documents including complaints, motions, discovery responses, and demand packages, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Collect, organize, and analyze medical records, bills, insurance documentation, and other supporting materials for damages claims.
• Communicate directly with clients, medical providers, and third parties to obtain information and updates.
• Assist with preparing cases for negotiation, settlement, or trial, including assembling exhibits and visual aids.
• Conduct legal research and maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines using legal software.
 

Qualifications and Skills for the Personal Injury Paralegal:
• 3–5 years of personal injury paralegal experience, with plaintiff-side background strongly preferred.
• Paralegal certificate, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong technical aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to explore AI-based tools to streamline case workflows.
• Excellent organizational, research, and writing abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and exercise initiative when attorneys are not onsite.
• Familiarity with litigation procedures and case management in New Jersey courts.
