Job Title: RN Telephonic Patient Support
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an RN Telephonic Patient Support professional to join our client to provide remote clinical guidance and compassionate assistance to patients participating in specialized health programs. This role focuses on helping patients understand treatment options, navigate healthcare processes, and manage ongoing care needs — all from the comfort of home. The RN will deliver high-quality virtual support while collaborating with internal teams and maintaining compliance with clinical protocols. This is a 100% remote, contract-to-hire opportunity open to nurses licensed in FL, TX, GA, NC, PA, OH, IL, or TN.
Compensation:
$25 – $28/hour to start
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST. Schedules are assigned at the time of offer and may include:
• 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM EST
• 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST
• 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST
Key Responsibilities of the RN Telephonic Patient Support:
• Deliver compassionate telephonic support to patients, caregivers, and volunteers, providing information and assistance regarding treatment programs and disease management.
• Conduct scripted medical screenings and follow established protocols to identify clinical needs, escalate concerns, or report adverse events appropriately.
• Accurately document all patient interactions in internal systems and ensure data integrity across platforms.
• Collaborate with clinical teams and program managers to enhance patient engagement and program effectiveness.
• Maintain professional communication standards while working independently within a remote environment.
Qualifications and Skills for the RN Telephonic Patient Support:
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in FL, TX, GA, NC, PA, OH, IL, or TN.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse; LPN experience does not apply toward this requirement.
• Prior experience in telephonic patient support, case management, or non-clinical nursing administration is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems, documentation tools, and virtual communication platforms.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a professional, empathetic demeanor when assisting patients.
