Job Title: Textiles Coordinator
 

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Textiles Coordinator to join our client to support the organization and development of fabric sourcing and research initiatives. This part-time contract position, based in West Chester, PA, blends onsite and remote work and plays a key role in maintaining material libraries, managing data in Excel, and supporting fabric trend and sourcing projects. The ideal candidate will bring a foundational knowledge of textiles or merchandising and a keen eye for detail in both operations and product development.
 

Compensation:
$27.50/hour
 

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, approximately 30–32 hours per week
(20–24 hours onsite and 8 hours remote weekly)
 

Key Responsibilities of the Textiles Coordinator:
• Support fabric sourcing and development efforts by organizing and maintaining material libraries and trend collections.
• Assist with daily operational tasks such as mail distribution, data documentation, and inventory management.
• Collaborate with the fabric team to process vendor specifications, validate material data, and create new material records in internal systems.
• Provide administrative and research support for sourcing initiatives, ensuring accurate records and timely updates.
• Contribute to the creation of presentations and reports related to fabric trends and material sourcing.
 

Qualifications and Skills for the Textiles Coordinator:
• Bachelor’s degree in Textiles, Merchandising, or a related field; a Master’s student with daytime availability may also be considered.
• Basic understanding of fabric types, construction, and sourcing processes.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Office Suite; familiarity with PLM systems is a plus.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
