Job Title: People Operations Team Coordinator
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a People Operations Team Coordinator to join our client to support daily administrative and financial operations within the HR department. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth workflows across People Operations, from managing employee records to assisting with budgeting and vendor processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining compliance and supporting HR initiatives. This contract-to-hire position is part-time (30 hours/week) and hybrid, requiring one onsite day per week (Wednesday or Thursday) in West Chester, PA.
Compensation:
$22/hour
Work Schedule:
30 hours per week — flexible schedule (Monday–Friday, 6-hour days or 4 days at 7.5 hours each; must remain consistent once chosen).
Key Responsibilities of the People Operations Team Coordinator:
• Provide administrative and operational support to the People Operations team, including managing incoming mail, organizing employee documentation, and maintaining accurate records for active and terminated team members.
• Oversee the audit and organization of I-9 forms to ensure compliance and secure recordkeeping.
• Assist with the preparation and tracking of the department’s annual budget, including creating purchase orders, managing invoices, and monitoring expenses through financial systems.
• Review and reconcile budget reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and department leaders to align spending with approved budgets and support strategic planning efforts.
Qualifications and Skills for the People Operations Team Coordinator:
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities with a sharp attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for reporting and data management.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Familiarity with HR policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
• Experience with procurement, spend management, or financial software such as Coupa preferred.
• A background in HR or People Operations is a plus.
