Job Title: Account Resolution Specialist

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Account Resolution Specialist to join our client to support borrowers in resolving delinquent accounts and improving their financial standing. In this role, you will engage with individuals by phone to understand their circumstances, share repayment solutions, and guide them through the steps to bring their accounts current. This is a remote, contract-to-hire position working with a team committed to accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service for borrowers across the Eastern Time Zone.

Compensation:
$16.50/hour

Work Schedule:
37.5 hours per week | Monday–Friday, standard business hours

Key Responsibilities of the Account Resolution Specialist:

• Engage borrowers through outbound and inbound calls to assess past-due balances and offer appropriate repayment paths.
• Document all borrower interactions and account activities thoroughly and accurately within internal systems.
• Provide and process required forms to support repayment arrangements, including deferment and forbearance options.
• Verify and update borrower contact details by referencing external servicing systems and tools.
• Request skip tracing assistance when needed to locate borrowers with outdated or invalid information.
• Maintain full adherence to privacy regulations and fair debt collection standards throughout all communications.

Qualifications and Skills for the Account Resolution Specialist:

• Prior experience in collections and/or customer support, with strong phone communication skills.
• Comfortable reading and following written processes and translating them into action.
• Proven ability to produce accurate notes, updates, and correspondence.
• Skilled in navigating Microsoft Office and other basic technology platforms.
• Professional, solutions-oriented demeanor with a focus on supporting customer success.
