Job Title: Clinical Research Nurse

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse to join our client to support the execution of innovative clinical trials that advance patient care and medical discovery. In this role, you’ll bridge hands-on nursing expertise with research operations—ensuring accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout every phase of study activity. This is a direct-hire opportunity based in Statesville, NC, offering a consistent weekday schedule and an engaging, fast-paced workload.

Compensation:
$90,000 – $95,000 annually

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EST (No weekends or holidays)

Key Responsibilities of the Clinical Research Nurse:

• Lead and perform study procedures in accordance with clinical protocols, ensuring all participant care and data collection meet regulatory and ethical standards.

• Administer and monitor clinical interventions, including specimen collection, vital signs, injections, IV infusions, and diagnostic testing, maintaining a focus on patient safety and data integrity.

• Coordinate patient engagement activities such as recruitment, screening, enrollment, and ongoing participant support throughout the trial lifecycle.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with physicians, coordinators, and research staff to promote consistency, quality, and compliance across all clinical operations.

• Document study outcomes and observations accurately in adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and institutional requirements.

Qualifications and Skills for the Clinical Research Nurse:

• Active LPN license required; RN strongly preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related discipline preferred; equivalent clinical experience considered.

• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, ideally within clinical research, infusion, ER, or home health settings.

• Strong working knowledge of GCP standards, clinical protocols, and regulatory documentation practices.

• Exceptional organizational skills, critical thinking ability, and attention to detail in a fast-paced research environment.

• Demonstrated collaboration and communication skills to build trust with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
