Job Title: Senior Paralegal – Workers’ Compensation

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join our client to support a thriving Workers’ Compensation legal practice by managing case files, drafting legal documents, and ensuring deadlines are met with accuracy and efficiency. This role plays a critical part in maintaining smooth case operations from intake through settlement, while serving as a key point of contact for clients and attorneys. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional client service in a fast-paced legal environment. This is a direct-hire, onsite position based in Mount Laurel, NJ.

Compensation:
$52,000 – $62,400 annually + bonus

Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, normal business hours

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Paralegal:

• Coordinate Case Management: Oversee all aspects of Workers’ Compensation files, from case initiation to resolution, ensuring critical dates and deadlines are properly tracked and met.

• Prepare Legal Documents: Draft, edit, and e-file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement documents, maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.

• Support Litigation Processes: Collect, review, and analyze medical and discovery records; compile evidence and prepare materials for hearings and negotiations.

• Client and Attorney Communication: Serve as a professional liaison between clients, attorneys, and external parties, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining positive relationships.

• Organize and Prioritize Workload: Manage daily tasks efficiently, balancing multiple assignments and adapting to shifting priorities as needed.

Qualifications and Skills for the Senior Paralegal:

• Minimum 1 year of Workers’ Compensation experience; familiarity with New Jersey case procedures strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook) and experience with case/document management systems such as FileVine or similar platforms.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and handle sensitive information with professionalism.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
