Job Title: Insurance Defense Paralegal (Auto)

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Insurance Defense Paralegal (Auto) to join our client to support their fast-paced litigation team focused on automobile liability cases. In this role, you’ll manage high-volume case files, assist with all phases of litigation, and help attorneys prepare for trials and hearings. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex cases involving liability, uninsured and underinsured motorist claims, and policy coverage issues while collaborating with a large team of seasoned legal professionals.

Compensation:
$60,000 annually

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, standard business hours

Key Responsibilities of the Insurance Defense Paralegal (Auto):

• Support attorneys through every stage of the litigation process, including discovery, pleadings, motions, and trial preparation.

• Manage a high-volume caseload using an organized system to track case progress, records, and documentation.

• Coordinate with team paralegals to obtain, organize, and maintain case materials, including medical records, claim files, and subpoenas.

• Assist with preparing exhibits, witness lists, and other trial materials, occasionally attending trial proceedings to provide in-person support.

• Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and outside parties to ensure timely case updates and document exchange.

• Maintain detailed billing records and ensure time entries meet firm and client expectations.

Qualifications and Skills for the Insurance Defense Paralegal (Auto):

• At least 3+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation; strong auto liability experience on the plaintiff side may also be considered.

• Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a Bachelor’s degree with a Paralegal Certificate preferred.

• Proven ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

• Proficiency in legal software and general computer applications; experience with case management systems is a plus.

• Demonstrated organization, analytical, and research abilities.

• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively with a team of attorneys and paralegals.
