Job Title: Customer Account Specialist

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Customer Account Specialist to join our client to support customers by resolving inquiries and ensuring a positive service experience. This direct hire role is based onsite in Howell Township, NJ. The specialist will contribute to customer satisfaction through timely assistance, accurate information sharing, and promoting service offerings. This position requires a service-minded individual who enjoys interacting with customers and working in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation:
$36.08/hour

Work Schedule:
Must be available for scheduling any time during the call center’s operating hours: Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–10:00 PM and Saturday/Sunday 6:00 AM–6:00 PM. 

Key Responsibilities of the Customer Account Specialist:

  • Respond to inbound customer calls, actively listen to concerns, and deliver accurate information or solutions.
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently by troubleshooting, coordinating with field teams, and striving for first-call resolution.
  • Maintain up-to-date and detailed account records to ensure accurate documentation and service history.
  • Promote service contracts and product offerings by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Follow established policies and meet performance goals related to call quality, handling time, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills for the Customer Account Specialist:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience in a high-volume call center or similar environment.
  • Ability to complete accelerated training and meet required testing standards.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and comfort using computer systems while handling calls.
  • Adaptable, proactive mindset with the ability to problem-solve and confidently offer additional services or products.
