Job Title: Litigation Paralegal
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our client to support complex litigation matters and ensure efficient document and case management. This role plays an integral part in organizing and analyzing legal materials, assisting attorneys through all stages of litigation, and maintaining precise control over eDiscovery processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple attorneys while ensuring every detail of case preparation is handled with accuracy and professionalism.
Compensation:
Up to $75,000 annually (overtime eligible)
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, standard business hours
Key Responsibilities of the Litigation Paralegal:
Manage all aspects of the litigation lifecycle, including eDiscovery, document management, and deposition preparation.
Utilize platforms such as Relativity, Concordance, and Summation to organize and tag documents, ensuring critical materials are identified for case proceedings.
Coordinate with attorneys to assemble case files, prepare exhibits, and maintain well-organized trial materials.
Support multiple attorneys simultaneously by prioritizing tasks, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining clear communication across teams.
Ensure accuracy and consistency in document handling, including email review, tagging, and database updates for ongoing cases.
Qualifications and Skills for the Litigation Paralegal:
2–3 years of recent experience supporting commercial litigation, including eDiscovery and document management.
Proficiency with legal document review software such as Relativity, Concordance, and Summation; familiarity with LiveNote is a plus.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage high volumes of case data and identify key materials.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to adapt to different attorney work styles and priorities.
Experience reviewing financial documentation (e.g., tax returns, K-1s) is advantageous but not required.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in all case management tasks.
