Job Title: Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our client to support attorneys in managing high-volume commercial real estate transactions from contract to close. This role plays a key part in preparing legal documentation, conducting title and due diligence reviews, and coordinating closing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deals in a fast-paced legal environment. This is a direct-hire, onsite position located in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Compensation:
$80,000 – $100,000 annually

Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, normal business hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys through all stages of commercial real estate transactions, including drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts, leases, and closing documents.

• Manage title work, lien searches, surveys, and related due diligence; identify and resolve issues prior to closing.

• Prepare and maintain closing checklists, monitor deadlines, and coordinate with clients, attorneys, lenders, and vendors to ensure smooth closings.

• Draft and organize closing statements, entity formation documents, and post-closing binders; e-record and file documents as needed.

• Maintain accurate billing records and organized electronic files to ensure all work is properly tracked and accessible.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal in a law firm or corporate setting.

• Strong knowledge of lease negotiations, lending requirements, and closing documentation.

• Proficiency with ATIDS, Doubletime, AgentNet, TitleWave, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe PDF Pro; familiarity with Propel or AltaStar is a plus.

• Excellent communication and proofreading skills, with the ability to handle complex, deadline-driven work independently.

• Understanding of real estate concepts such as FinCEN, KYC, and 1031 Exchange is preferred.
