Job Title: Branch Manager

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Branch Manager to join our client to lead branch operations, strengthen customer relationships, and drive local market growth. This onsite, Direct Hire role in Wilmington, DE oversees the branch’s daily performance while ensuring exceptional service and a strong, goal-oriented sales culture. The Branch Manager will guide a team of retail banking professionals, support community engagement efforts, and uphold all regulatory and operational standards. This position plays a key role in expanding the branch’s presence and ensuring a positive experience for every customer.

Compensation:
$57,000 – $80,000 annually

Work Schedule:
35-hour work week. Branch hours: Monday–Thursday 8:30 a.m.–4:15 p.m, Friday 8:30 a.m.–6:15 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.–12 p.m. (rotational Saturdays).

Key Responsibilities of the Branch Manager:

• Drive branch growth by guiding sales initiatives, monitoring performance trends, and supporting strategies that increase deposits, loans, and fee-based business.
• Cultivate a high-quality customer experience by modeling strong relationship-building behaviors and addressing service concerns promptly.
• Oversee daily branch operations, risk management, and compliance activities, ensuring readiness for audits, security reviews, and regulatory assessments.
• Develop and coach team members through regular training, performance conversations, and career development planning to support progression and strong retention.
• Engage in community outreach and business development efforts, including networking, outbound calls, and promoting products and services that meet customer needs.

Qualifications and Skills for the Branch Manager:

• Background in retail banking with experience leading branch operations, sales strategy, or customer service teams.
• Ability to interpret performance data and make informed decisions that support growth and efficiency.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching, accountability, communication, and inclusive team culture.
• Understanding of banking compliance, security protocols, and regulatory requirements (e.g., BSA/AML, Reg CC, Reg E).
• Comfort managing schedules, performance documentation, and operational processes in partnership with cross-functional teams.
