Job Title: Credentialing Specialist


Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to join our client to support key compliance and quality assurance processes across the organization. In this role, you will help maintain regulatory readiness, coordinate audit activities, and ensure accurate documentation of licensure and credentialing requirements. You’ll handle data management, policy updates, and reporting tasks that ensure compliance with internal and external standards. Compensation:
$25.00 – $32.00/hour


Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (AZ hours)


Key Responsibilities of the Credentialing Specialist:

• Support compliance monitoring activities by reviewing documentation, tracking regulatory requirements, and assisting with internal/external audit preparation.
• Manage reporting processes by uploading monthly, quarterly, and annual data into secure platforms while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality.
• Assist with maintaining and updating organizational policies, coordinating annual reviews, revising content as directed, and ensuring alignment with regulatory and contract standards.
• Conduct research and track licensure requirements across states, including clinician licensing, staying current with regulatory changes in healthcare.
• Organize audit deliverables, compile data using Excel pivot tables, and ensure all deadlines and project requirements are met.


Qualifications and Skills for the Credentialing Specialist:

• Experience in healthcare operations with familiarity in medical terminology and compliance processes.
• Understanding of HIPAA; exposure to NCQA/URAC, ODAG reports, ICD-10 coding, and EMR systems is helpful.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Adobe applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to multitask while applying critical-thinking skills.
• Prior internal audit or project management experience is a plus.
