Job Title: Inter-Plan Relations Coordinator

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Inter-Plan Relations Coordinator to join our client’s team and support critical claims resolution and inter-plan operations. In this role, you will act as a liaison between multiple health plans, providers, and internal departments to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of claims. You’ll analyze trends, recommend process improvements, and contribute to national-level issue resolution. This is a temp-to-hire position based in Philadelphia, PA, offering a hybrid work arrangement and an immediate start date.

Compensation:
$28.00 per hour

Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, standard business hours (37.5-hour work week)

Key Responsibilities of the Inter-Plan Relations Coordinator:

  • Investigate and resolve complex and escalated claims issues impacting providers and members
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries from partner health plans, ensuring end-to-end resolution
  • Track and analyze inquiry data to identify root causes and recommend improvements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain compliance and meet service standards
  • Prepare reports and provide insights to management for national-level issue resolution
  • Support educational initiatives for members and providers based on recurring issues

Qualifications and Skills for the Inter-Plan Relations Coordinator:

  • High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of experience in claims/service operations OR Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation capabilities
  • Ability to interact effectively with providers, partner plan staff, and internal teams at all levels
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet strict turnaround times
  • Knowledge of inter-plan policies, systems, and processing standards
  • Familiarity with healthcare products such as Medicare Advantage, State Health Plans, ASO, and fully insured plans
  • Experience developing and delivering customized education programs in the healthcare industry is preferred
