Job Title: Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our client to support and drive the successful execution of residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing. This role plays a key part in managing multiple closings simultaneously while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery for all parties involved. The position is a direct hire opportunity based onsite in either West Palm Beach or Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The ideal candidate brings strong real estate law knowledge, closing coordination experience, and confidence working with lenders, clients, and attorneys in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:
$95,000 annually

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, normal business hours

Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Real Estate Paralegal:

  • Manage end-to-end residential and commercial real estate closings, overseeing timelines, documentation, and issue resolution to ensure on-time completion
  • Coordinate due diligence activities, including ordering and reviewing title, lien searches, surveys, zoning, environmental reports, and estoppels.
  • Prepare, balance, and review closing disclosures and settlement statements while collaborating with lenders on funding requirements and approvals
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and attorneys, providing clear communication and status updates throughout the transaction
  • Draft, review, and organize real estate-related documents such as purchase and sale agreements, deeds, loan documents, affidavits, and resolutions
  • Oversee post-closing processes, including e-recording, policy issuance, disbursements, and final documentation

Qualifications and Skills for the Commercial Real Estate Paralegal:

  • Minimum of five years of hands-on experience supporting real estate transactions within a mid-size or large law firm environment
  • Paralegal training with either a degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of purchase, sale, and loan files simultaneously with strong attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of state and county real estate laws, title insurance standards, surveys, and transactional customs
  • Proficiency with Outlook calendars and industry-standard real estate software; familiarity with SoftPro is a plus
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable tracking deadlines, reporting file status, and resolving issues independently
