Job Title: Corporate Tax Accountant
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Corporate Tax Accountant to join our client’s team and support critical tax compliance and reporting functions. This role will focus on preparing federal and multistate tax returns, assisting with tax provisions, and managing quarterly estimates and extensions. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of corporate tax regulations to ensure accuracy and compliance. This is a direct hire opportunity located in New Hyde Park, NY, with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) during standard business hours.
Compensation:
$85,000 – $100,000 per year
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, normal business hours

Key Responsibilities of the Corporate Tax Accountant:
- Prepare federal and multistate corporate income tax and partnership returns
- Calculate book-to-tax differences, state apportionment, and tax depreciation
- Assist with annual tax provision calculations and quarterly estimates
- Respond to state tax notices and support audits and tax-related projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum 2 years of corporate income tax experience, including federal and multistate returns
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
