Job Title: Staff Accountant

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our client to support daily financial operations and ensure accurate tracking of business activity. This role contributes to consistent recordkeeping, timely billing processes, and effective coordination with internal teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong organizational skills, and enjoys working with data and spreadsheets. This is a direct-hire, onsite position based in Palm Beach, FL, operating standard business hours.
Compensation:
$22.00 – $26.00 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
- Maintain accurate financial records, tracking data from project initiation through completion
- Prepare and update spreadsheets and reports to support scheduling, billing, and operational workflows
- Process daily billing activities and assist with monitoring outstanding balances and receivables
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely updates, status reporting, and issue resolution
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Proficient Excel skills, with comfort managing high-volume data
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- 2–4 years of experience in accounting, billing, or accounts payable
