Job Title: Fleet Manager
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Fleet Manager to support our client by overseeing day-to-day fleet operations, ensuring compliance, and optimizing vehicle lifecycle management. This role is critical in maintaining accurate fleet data, coordinating vehicle maintenance and replacement, and supporting safety and compliance initiatives across the organization. The Fleet Manager will also partner closely with cross?functional teams, including payroll, finance, safety, and field leadership. This is a remote, temp-to-hire opportunity based on an M–F, 9 AM–5 PM EST schedule.
Compensation:
$40 – $43/hour
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM EST

Key Responsibilities of the Fleet Manager:

• Manage day-to-day fleet activity including vehicle records, maintenance approvals, and policy communications
• Coordinate incident reporting, insurance documentation, and driver compliance requirements
• Maintain fleet databases and reporting tools, including mileage, inventory, and driver records
• Prepare routine and monthly operational reports, audits, and reconciliations for finance, payroll, and safety teams
• Support annual fleet processes including replacement scheduling, reimbursement rate updates, training, and compliance documentation

Qualifications and Skills for the Fleet Manager:

• Experience in fleet operations, transportation management, or related administrative coordination
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to manage large datasets
• Knowledge of vehicle compliance, safety programs, or insurance/incident processes
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Ability to manage recurring monthly/annual processes and drive process improvements
