Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our client to support borrowers with mortgage related questions and account needs. This role plays an important part in providing accurate information, guiding callers through sensitive situations, and ensuring positive experiences during each interaction. This is a 100% remote, temp-to-hire opportunity suited for individuals who enjoy structured, service driven work and communicating with customers directly. You will contribute to a team that helps homeowners understand and manage key aspects of their mortgage accounts.
Compensation:
$16.00/hour
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 11:30am–8:00pm EST
One Saturday every four weeks, 9:00am–3:30pm EST
Key Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:

• Manage incoming calls related to escrow, payments, loan details, and general mortgage inquiries.
• Support customers through complex or sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy.
• Navigate multiple systems while on calls to research information, document updates, and complete tasks.
• Communicate effectively through both phone and email channels.
• Maintain organization and accuracy while working in a structured virtual call center environment.

Qualifications and Skills for the Customer Service Representative:

• Experience in mortgage servicing, lending, or homeownership support strongly preferred.
• Ability to handle challenging and emotional conversations with composure.
• Strong multitasking ability, including talking and typing simultaneously.
• Confidence using multiple computer programs and learning new systems quickly.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced setting.
