Job Title: Recruiter
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Recruiter to join our client to support high-volume hiring efforts and deliver a smooth, well-organized applicant experience. This role plays a key part in coordinating interviews, managing compliance requirements, and guiding candidates through the full hiring and onboarding process. The Recruiter will collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate records, uphold hiring standards, and contribute to local sourcing efforts. This is a 100% onsite, direct-hire position based in Wilmington, DE.
Compensation:
$25/hour
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, normal business hours

Key Responsibilities of the Recruiter:

• Manage applicant communication, including call-backs, follow-ups, interview scheduling, and inquiry tracking
• Provide candidates with hiring process details, expectations, and support throughout their application journey
• Coordinate and process pre-employment screenings, background checks, and related compliance documentation
• Maintain accurate records, onboarding packets, new hire files, and daily applicant paperwork
• Support recruitment initiatives including walk-in traffic, job fairs, and local advertising efforts

Qualifications and Skills for the Recruiter:

• At least 1 year of experience in high-volume recruiting or administrative support
• Experience with pre-employment screenings or background checks preferred
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), social platforms, and online tools
• Excellent organization, multitasking ability, and strong attention to detail
