Job Title: Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to join our client to support financial operations and ensure accurate, timely reporting. In this role, you’ll help drive a smooth monthly and quarterly close process, strengthen internal accounting practices, and maintain reliable financial data that leadership can trust. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys hands-on work across reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger oversight. This is a hybrid contract opportunity based in Trevose, PA.
Compensation:
$40–$50 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, flexible hours

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager:

  • Oversee monthly and quarterly close activities, ensuring accurate financial statements and timely reporting.
  • Maintain and reconcile bank accounts and general ledger balances to uphold data integrity.
  • Prepare, review, and post journal entries while supporting ongoing accounting operations.
  • Assist with limited payroll-related tasks and contribute to routine accounting functions as needed.
  • Streamline day-to-day accounting processes and support ad hoc financial tasks.

Qualifications and Skills for the Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager:

  • Proven experience in accounting with strong knowledge of reconciliations, journal entries, and close processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with payroll processes and general accounting systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
