Job Title: Healthcare Call Center Representative
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Healthcare Call Center Representative to join our client to deliver clear, compassionate phone support to individuals seeking assistance with healthcare-related questions. This role focuses on helping callers navigate benefits information, resolve concerns, and access resources efficiently. You will contribute to a service-driven environment by maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and schedule reliability. This position is onsite for training and transitions to remote work, with the expectation of onsite attendance when required. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity based in the Greater Philadelphia area.
Compensation:
$21.95/hour
Work Schedule:
Call center operates 7 days/week, from 8:00 AM – 8:15 PM.

Key Responsibilities of the Healthcare Call Center Representative:

  • Provide high-volume phone support by answering a wide range of questions related to benefits, identification cards, and general account information.
  • Manage inquiries by researching information within internal systems and routing more complex issues to specialized teams when necessary.
  • Maintain accuracy and professionalism while documenting caller interactions and following all service and quality expectations.
  • Meet performance and attendance standards, including system log-in requirements, break schedules, and participation in coaching or feedback sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards, including maintaining a secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace when remote.

Qualifications and Skills for the Healthcare Call Center Representative:

  • Prior customer service experience, preferably in a phone-based or fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in healthcare support or working with medical or insurance systems is beneficial.
  • Strong computer literacy with the ability to navigate multiple programs and learn new tools quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills, including empathy, patience, active listening, and the ability to guide callers professionally.
  • Reliable, adaptable, and receptive to coaching and performance feedback.
