Job Title: Trust & Estates Paralegal
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Trust & Estates Paralegal to join our client to support the administration of complex estates and trusts across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In this role, you will manage critical legal, financial, and procedural components of estate matters from initiation through closing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion. You will serve as a key liaison for clients, courts, and financial professionals while maintaining organized workflows and high-quality documentation. This hybrid, direct-hire opportunity offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to a well-established practice.
Compensation:
$80,000–$90,000 annually
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM

Key Responsibilities of the Trust & Estates Paralegal:

  • Guide the full lifecycle of PA and NJ estate administration, managing probate filings, asset/debt documentation, and coordination with courts and county offices.
  • Prepare and organize essential tax filings, including federal/state death tax returns and fiduciary income tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, advisors, attorneys, and external partners to collect information and keep cases moving efficiently.
  • Monitor deadlines, maintain estate calendars, and support the creation of accountings, settlement agreements, and related documentation.
  • Oversee document execution processes, including notarization and court-required filings across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications and Skills for the Trust & Estates Paralegal:

  • Experience managing estate and trust administration matters, ideally across both PA and NJ.
  • Strong knowledge of probate procedures, tax reporting requirements, and fiduciary accounting practices.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with clients and various stakeholders while managing sensitive information.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a track record of meeting deadlines and handling multiple priorities.
  • Notary license preferred or willingness to obtain one.
