Job Title: Medical Mal Legal Assistant
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Medical Mal Legal Assistant to join our client and support a busy legal team handling complex medical malpractice matters. In this role, you’ll help drive workflow efficiency by coordinating attorney schedules, organizing case materials, and ensuring accurate document preparation. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and can balance multiple priorities. This is a direct-hire, 100% onsite opportunity based in Tampa, FL.
Compensation:
$23.00 – $32.00/hour
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, normal business hours

Key Responsibilities of the Medical Mal Legal Assistant:

  • Support multiple attorneys by coordinating calendars, tracking deadlines, and arranging meetings to maintain smooth case progression.
  • Prepare, proofread, and manage legal documents, filings, and professional correspondence with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Organize, update, and maintain case files, ensuring information is current and easily accessible for attorney use.
  • Assist with case related administration, including document organization, follow-ups, and client communications.
  • Contribute to overall workflow improvement by anticipating needs and streamlining routine processes.

Qualifications and Skills for the Medical Mal Legal Assistant:

  • At least three years of hands-on experience as a legal assistant supporting medical malpractice work.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities while supporting multiple attorneys in a high-volume setting.
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, paired with a client-focused, professional demeanor.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail, critical thinking, and initiative.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
