Job Title: Invoicing Processor
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an
Invoicing Processor to join our client to support the accurate flow of financial transactions and reporting within a fast-paced investment operations environment. This role ensures timely processing of high-volume invoices, contributes to essential back-office functions, and helps maintain financial accuracy for internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical abilities, solid Excel skills, and foundational investment knowledge to help streamline daily processing and month-end activities. This is a hybrid opportunity based in Philadelphia, offering hands-on exposure to financial services operations.
Compensation:
$26–$28 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, standard business hours; Hybrid schedule with on-site work on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with an occasional third day on-site as needed.
Key Responsibilities of the Invoicing Processor:
- Support core back-office operations by processing financial transactions and maintaining accurate reporting records.
- Manage high-volume invoice intake, ensuring accuracy through Excel based validations, audits, and reconciliations.
- Coordinate wire payment preparation and submission through internal approval portals.
- Assist with investment property activity by gathering data, preparing summaries, and communicating updates to internal stakeholders.
- Compile and organize month-end workpapers to support financial close processes.
Qualifications and Skills for the Invoicing Processor:
- Background in financial services with at least 2 years of experience in invoicing, reporting, or similar operational functions.
- Strong Excel capabilities, including proficiency with VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and spreadsheet-based analysis.
- Foundational understanding of investment concepts such as fixed income and bonds.
- Experience with compliance, auditing, or transactional reviews is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is preferred, though relevant experience is equally valued.
