Job Title: Inside Sales Representative
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our client and support revenue growth by engaging prospective customers and cultivating early-stage sales opportunities. This role plays an important part in driving pipeline activity by connecting with new leads, uncovering customer needs, and preparing qualified prospects for the field sales team. The Inside Sales Representative will help streamline the lead-qualification process, maintain accurate CRM data, and contribute to overall territory success. This is a direct-hire position based in Marlboro, NJ, starting onsite for the first 90 days and transitioning to a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite / 2 remote).
Compensation:
$45,000–$50,000 annual salary + quarterly commission
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Representative:

  • Support lead management by entering, organizing, and updating prospect information in Salesforce to ensure data accuracy and a healthy pipeline.
  • Drive outbound outreach efforts through phone, email, and social channels to generate interest and connect with potential customers.
  • Identify key contacts and assess prospect needs to determine fit and readiness for deeper engagement.
  • Coordinate discovery calls and meetings for Territory Representatives while ensuring prospects move smoothly through early funnel stages.
  • Arrange product sample shipments and maintain consistent follow-up to encourage evaluation and progression toward sales opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills for the Inside Sales Representative:

  • Background or strong interest in inside sales, business development, or customer engagement functions.
  • Excellent communication abilities, including confident phone presence and professional writing skills.
  • Comfortable handling high-volume outreach, including cold calling and follow-up activities.
  • Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple leads and tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to learn CRM systems quickly; prior Salesforce experience is a plus.
