Job Title: Billing Analyst
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Billing Analyst to join our client and support accurate revenue operations, cash application, and accounts receivable workflows. In this role, you will help maintain the integrity of financial records, contribute to efficient month-end processes, and ensure timely collection activities. This position plays an important part in strengthening financial controls, supporting audits, and enhancing overall AR performance. This is a remote, temp-to-hire opportunity for a detail-driven professional who enjoys working collaboratively across finance functions.
Compensation:
$28.00 – $29.00/hour
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Key Responsibilities of the Billing Analyst:
- Support daily cash application activities, including reviewing and reconciling postings to ensure accuracy.
- Oversee collection workflows by monitoring outstanding balances, reviewing aged receivables, and partnering with internal teams to resolve issues.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including AR reconciliations, unapplied cash reviews, and refund reporting.
- Collaborate on integration tasks for newly acquired business units, including AR and collections setup.
- Contribute to audit readiness by maintaining documentation, supporting SOX compliance, and assisting internal and external auditors.
Qualifications and Skills for the Billing Analyst:
- A degree in business or a related field is preferred; equivalent hands-on experience is welcome.
- At least 2 years of experience in billing, cash application, accounts receivable, or similar functions.
- Strong analytical abilities with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with Lawson or similar billing systems is beneficial.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
