Job Title: Business Specialist
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Business Specialist to join our client to support the development and maintenance of benefit documentation for commercial insurance products. In this role, you will help organize product information, ensure accuracy across multiple benefit materials, and assist with compliance-related updates. You will collaborate with product teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality documentation that meets regulatory and organizational standards. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, navigating detailed content, and contributing to projects that impact both internal teams and end members.
Compensation:
$28.57/hour
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, standard business hours
Hybrid schedule (onsite Tuesday–Thursday; must reside in PA, NJ, or DE)

Key Responsibilities of the Business Specialist:

  • Support the creation, revision, and quality assurance of standard and custom benefit materials, ensuring consistency and accuracy across multiple product lines.
  • Maintain annual product portfolios and update internal reference tools, grids, and tracking documents to reflect product and regulatory changes.
  • Process custom benefit updates by interpreting language requests, verifying cost-share details, and preparing corresponding documents.
  • Coordinate internal audits, manage translation needs, oversee vendor communication, and assist with payment tracking.
  • Contribute to system testing, document management processes, and various departmental initiatives and ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications and Skills for the Business Specialist:

  • A degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related area is preferred; relevant experience will also be considered.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with product, benefits, or similar insurance-related functions.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to prioritize multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office—especially Excel—along with comfort using Adobe and other documentation or printing systems.
  • Familiarity with commercial insurance products, particularly within the PA and NJ markets, is a plus.
