Job Title: Client Benefits Specialist

Job Overview:

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Client Benefits Specialist to join our client and support the delivery of high-quality benefits service for their Public Entity customer base. In this role, you will help resolve member issues, coordinate with carriers, and maintain accurate eligibility, enrollment, and billing records. You’ll play a key part in ensuring clients receive timely, accurate benefit guidance and a smooth day-to-day service experience. This onsite, Camden-based position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys problem-solving within the health and benefits space.

Compensation:

$55,000 – $70,000/year

Work Schedule:

Onsite, Monday–Friday, normal business hours

Key Responsibilities of the Client Benefits Specialist:

  • Deliver responsive daily support by addressing client and member benefit inquiries and coordinating resolutions with internal teams and insurance carriers.
  • Maintain and organize benefit documentation and account files, ensuring accuracy within systems such as ImageRight and BenefitPoint.
  • Monitor plan data, enrollment activity, billing reports, and benefit materials to ensure timely updates and reliable plan administration.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, brokers, and carriers to obtain information, troubleshoot concerns, and support claims processing and benefit clarification.
  • Contribute to team initiatives, participate in meetings and trainings, and independently manage special assignments that enhance departmental operations.

Qualifications and Skills for the Client Benefits Specialist:

  • A related degree is preferred; equivalent hands-on experience in benefits administration is also welcomed.
  • At least 2 years of experience in health and benefits support, including familiarity with benefits administration platforms.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with comfort working with carriers and client-facing systems.
  • Prior Public Entity experience, carrier customer service experience, and a Life & Health license are advantageous.
