Job Title: Destination Services Coordinator Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Destination Services Coordinator to join our client to support the seamless execution of conventions, meetings, and large scale events throughout the Philadelphia area. In this role, you will act as a key point of contact for event organizers, helping them navigate the city’s resources and ensuring visiting groups enjoy a smooth and successful experience. You will contribute to the planning and coordination of events of varying size and visibility, including major citywide activities. This hybrid contract role is ideal for someone who thrives in a service-oriented, fast paced environment. Compensation: $27.00/hour Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, normal business hours
Key Responsibilities of the Destination Services Coordinator:
• Serve as a primary liaison for visiting groups and event planners, ensuring they receive timely guidance and support throughout the event lifecycle.
• Coordinate city resources and services to help facilitate conventions, sports events, and other special gatherings of all sizes.
• Assist with planning and on-the-ground coordination for high profile citywide events and initiatives.
• Deliver administrative and project support to the Destination Services Management team to keep operations organized and efficient.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communications to ensure smooth collaboration across internal and external partners.
Qualifications and Skills for the Destination Services Coordinator:
• Experience providing administrative, hospitality, or event support in a customer-focused environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact professionally with planners and stakeholder groups.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail when coordinating multiple moving parts.
• Proficiency with standard office technology and the ability to learn internal systems quickly.
• A degree in a related field is welcomed, though relevant experience will also be considered.
