Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our client to support high volume patient communication and ensure a smooth, positive healthcare experience. This role plays a key part in assisting patients, providers, and internal teams by managing inbound/outbound calls, coordinating information, and maintaining accurate records. This is a remote, temp-to-hire opportunity offering meaningful interaction with both patients and healthcare teams. Compensation:
$20.00/hour Work Schedule:
Schedules available:
• 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM AZ Time, Saturday–Wednesday
• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM AZ Time, Monday–Friday
• 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM AZ Time, Saturday–Wednesday Key Responsibilities of the Patient Service Representative:
• Support high volume patient and provider inquiries by delivering accurate information, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Coordinate communication across internal departments, including forwarding messages, routing calls, and facilitating the referral process.
• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, processing faxes/emails, and maintaining detailed records in internal systems.
• Manage follow up outreach to patients to gather additional information, provide updates, and ensure proper next steps are completed.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all healthcare guidelines while meeting performance and quality benchmarks. Qualifications and Skills for the Patient Service Representative:
• Prior experience in a call center, medical office, or similar high volume customer support setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem solving skills with the ability to remain professional and calm under pressure.
• Solid computer proficiency, including typing skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work independently in a remote, secure home environment with reliable high speed internet.
• Must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or GED; flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required. Why Join Us?
